Dennis Prager Destroys Dave Smith in Live Debate | WATCH
Dave Smith was absolutely destroyed by Dennis Prager, and we so here for it.

Zero Hedge is a financial and geopolitical blog known for its bearish worldview and criticism of institutions like the Federal Reserve.
Lebertarian comedian (and well-known antisemite) Dave Smith has become a recurring figure in Zero Hedge’s live debates and content, leveraging the platform’s anti-establishment ethos to challenge mainstream narratives on foreign policy, particularly U.S. involvement in Middle Eastern conflicts.
In a heated debate, conservative commentator Dennis Prager took on pro-Palestinian activists Dave Smith and Cenk Uygur, exposing the flaws in their anti-Israel stance with sharp clarity.
Smith and Uygur argued that Israel's actions against Palestinians, particularly post-October 7, 2023, are unjust, pointing to high casualty figures and alleged occupation as moral failures. Prager countered with a devastating analogy, likening their focus on "innocent Palestinians" to mourning "innocent Germans" under Nazi rule—a point he called "morally idiotic."
He argued that Hamas, like the Nazis, bears sole responsibility for Palestinian suffering due to its relentless attacks and genocidal intent, as evidenced by its boastful videos of atrocities, unlike the Nazis who hid their crimes.
Prager’s core challenge was a thought experiment: if Israel disarmed, it would face annihilation akin to October 7 across its entire population; if Palestinians disarmed, peace would follow. This, he said, reveals the conflict’s root, Hamas’s desire to eradicate the Jewish state, a goal embedded in its charter and unchanged since 1948. He dismissed claims of Israeli aggression by highlighting Israel’s democratic freedoms, including rights for its 2 million Arab citizens, contrasting it with Hamas’s brutal police state.
Prager also tackled the "occupation" narrative, noting Gaza’s self-governance since 2005 and Israel’s lack of obligation to provide aid, yet it delivered 2 million tons since October 7.Smith’s attempt to equate Palestinian resistance with Jewish uprisings against Nazis fell apart as Prager and co-panelist Batya Ungar-Sargon emphasized Hamas’s unprovoked terror, including stabbings and rocket attacks, unlike Jews who never attacked Germans.
Smith’s collectivist framing, suggesting all Palestinians are victims, was rebuffed by evidence of Hamas’s role in Gaza’s destruction, like using water pipes for rockets.
Prager left Smith and Uygur’s arguments exposed as emotionally charged but factually hollow, reinforcing that Hamas’s ideology, not Israeli policy, fuels the conflict.
