Harry & Meghan’s Netflix Era Isn’t Over Yet—Here’s What’s Coming Next
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry explore new television ventures as their $100M Netflix deal concludes, with multiple projects in development and lifestyle brand expansion plans.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s high-profile $100 million Netflix deal is winding down, but their presence on screen is far from over. According to sources close to the couple, several new television projects are already in development, with both the Duke and Duchess of Sussex actively involved.
While their exclusive partnership with Netflix is set to conclude later this year, the pair is reportedly in talks to sign a new first-look agreement with the streaming giant, similar to the model used by Barack and Michelle Obama’s production company, Higher Ground.
In the meantime, Markle, 43, has decided to pause her podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder, to focus on other ventures, including a second season of her lifestyle series With Love, Meghan, which is scheduled to premiere in September. The new season was filmed alongside the first, which debuted in March.

Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos remains a strong supporter of the Sussexes, and according to industry sources, maintains a close personal rapport with the couple.
Beyond the screen, Markle is expanding her lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard (referred to by insiders as As ever) following the success of her recently launched rosé wine, which sold out quickly. A new champagne line is expected to follow, along with a holiday product collection.
Speaking last month on Emma Grede’s Aspire podcast, Markle explained her decision to pause Confessions of a Female Founder, emphasizing her commitment to building her business:
“What an amazing opportunity, to pull back the curtain and let people see what’s happening at the start,” she said. “To talk to so many female founders who’ve been on that full trajectory, that are on the other side of success. To be really candid and vulnerable personally about my learns and stumbles along the way. And to then take everyone’s advice, mine included, and to say, ‘I love that there’s so much excitement and desire for another season, but I need to focus on my business.’”
In addition to her business pursuits, Markle is focusing on family life with Prince Harry and their two children, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4. She’s also channeling her energy into supporting women-led businesses, investing in companies she’s passionate about, including Midi Health, a fast-growing telehealth provider for midlife women, and Clevr, the oat milk latte brand she’s long supported.
