The IDF announced today (Sunday) that Abdullah Al Jamal, a journalist with the Palestine Chronicle and occasional al-Jazeera contributor, held three of the four hostages recently freed by the IDF in his home, based on a joint IDF-ISA investigation.

The IDF further stated that Al Jamal was a Hamas member and that he held the three hostages - Almog Meir Jan, Andrey Kozlov, and Shlomi Ziv - at his home where his family resided.

Previous reports mistakenly claimed that he held Noa Argamani in his home, reports we now know to be incorrect, per the IDF.
