Have we learned nothing?

Unbelievable: 60 IDF female IDF observers abandoned near Gaza

60 female observers were left without security at the Urim base post, while the base’s gate remained open and unguarded. The IDF is investigating, but the soldiers are furious: “How are we supposed to feel protected?”

Has the IDF not learned anything?!

Last Thursday, the observation post at the Urim base, located near the Gaza border, was left completely abandoned - without a guard at the gate and without a security force present, N12 learned today (Thursday). For 12 hours, 60 female observers stationed at the post were left without any protection, as the base’s gate remained open and unsupervised.

This failure takes on extraordinary significance following the October 7 massacre, in which dozens of terrorists breached the Nahal Oz post near the Gaza Envelope, murdering and abducting female observers who were left defenseless without any security.

The recently released observers endured unknown horrors in Hamas captivity in Gaza and were released as a tremendous price: Thousands of terrorists, some with Israeli blood on their hands.

It boggles the mind.
