Lieberman: Netanyahu Sacrifices Hostages on the Altar of the Coalition
MK Avigdor Lieberman slammed Prime Minister Netanyahu and claimed: "that he sacrifices all the hostages on the altar of preserving the coalition."

A sharp confrontation developed today (Thursday) between Yisrael Beiteinu chairman MK Avigdor Lieberman and the Likud party, regarding the implementation of a hostage deal and regarding responsibility for the October 7th massacre.
Lieberman attacked Netanyahu and said: "Unfortunately, to this day 50 hostages are still in Hamas tunnels. Netanyahu sacrifices all the hostages on the altar of preserving the coalition." According to him: "Almost two years after Hamas massacred, raped, murdered and kidnapped our citizens, and the government continues to transfer billions to fund Hamas under the framework of 'humanitarian aid' - this is a decision not to decide and not to defeat Hamas."
Concluding: "I call on the government to return the hostages. The equation is simple: cessation of war in exchange for the return of all hostages in one go, and then we'll settle the score with Hamas."
Likud did not remain indebted and responded: "Avigdor Lieberman promised to eliminate Sinwar within 48 hours, to bring the death penalty for terrorists, to legislate the loyalty law, and ended up as finance minister in a government that transferred millions to the Muslim Brotherhood, that brought in for the first time since Protective Edge thousands of workers from Gaza to Israel."
Additionally, it was stated that "Lieberman continues to work on the public and play a right-winger, while in practice he acts with all his might with Mansour Abbas and Yair Golan to surrender to Hamas, stop the war and establish an extreme left government."
Following Likud's statement, Lieberman's people responded: "The Prime Minister of October 7th again tries to escape responsibility and erase his failures. He can continue to tweet but the truth is clear: it's not for nothing that Netanyahu fears the establishment of a state commission of inquiry. He knows very well that he is primarily responsible for the greatest disaster in the history of the State of Israel."
