Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is confirmed to meet with US President Joe Biden at the White House this week, despite Biden’s withdrawal from the presidential race, according to an Associated Press source familiar with Biden’s schedule.

The timing of the meeting is still pending due to Biden’s recovery from COVID-19. Initially scheduled for Monday, the meeting will be adjusted as Biden isolates following a positive COVID-19 test. White House National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby indicated that Biden still plans to meet Netanyahu, subject to his health status.

During his visit to Washington, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is also scheduled to meet with Vice President Kamala Harris, who is currently vying for the Democratic Party’s nomination.

An official from Netanyahu’s office confirmed the Prime Minister's trip to Washington will proceed as planned on Monday. The official, speaking anonymously pending a formal announcement, affirmed that the schedule remains unchanged.
