IDF: 43 Tons Of Aid Airdropped On Northern and Southern Gaza
The IDF announced that it has airdropped or facilitated the airdrop of tons of humanitarian aid for Gazan civilians, in an effort to bypass armed gangs and Hamas terrorists trying to steal it.

The IDF released the following statement today (Thursday) regarding the airdropping of humanitarian aid for Gazans in the north and south of the Strip:
"Today (Thursday), in accordance with the directives from the political echelon and as part of the cooperation between Israel, the UAE, Jordan and Egypt, the IDF, led by COGAT, is continuing the series of actions aimed at improving the humanitarian response in the Gaza Strip.
"Over the past few hours, 43 aid packages, containing food for the residents of both the southern and northern Gaza Strip, were airdropped.
"The IDF will continue to work in order to improve the humanitarian response in the Gaza Strip, along with the international community, while refuting the false claims of deliberate starvation in Gaza."
Channel 13 reports that there is great pessimism regarding the possibility of reaching a hostage deal with Hamas and that Steve Witkoff will be heading to the Gaza Strip tomorrow to see for himself that there is neither "famine nor deliberate starvation."
A detailed report by Matti Friedman in The Free Press indicates that while there is no Israeli policy of mass starvation nor an imminent famine as claimed in much of the western media, there are pockets within the Strip suffering from food shortages, largely due to mass looting and theft of aid and aid trucks meant for Gazan civilians.
