Military sources hint at a drastic scenario: mobilizing five divisions, including the redeployed 98th, fresh from Iran ops.
In Gaza City and Khan Yunis, tanks, artillery, and infantry roll in, yet the General Staff worries about hostages still in Hamas hands. The political echelon, set to convene Thursday, must choose between escalation or a hostage-release deal. Meanwhile, aid distribution stumbles, only four of eight planned points operate, with northern Gaza still receiving supplies despite plans to shift residents south, drawing flak from security officials who argue, “You don’t feed where you want them to flee.”
