The Chinese news agency "Xinhua" reported last night (Saturday), citing two knowledgeable Egyptian sources, that the Hamas organization agreed to a deal with Israel. According to the report, a delegation on behalf of Hamas even arrived in Cairo with the purpose of setting timetables for implementing the agreement. It's important to note that this report has no confirmation from Israeli or other international sources as of now.

According to the "Xinhua" report brought by Kan News, Hamas allegedly agreed to a two-month ceasefire in the fighting. During this period, 10 living hostages are supposed to be released as well as 10 to 16 bodies of hostages, which will be delivered in the first stage. After that, the remaining bodies are supposed to be delivered.

According to the Egyptian sources, during these two months, the sides will conduct negotiations on the second stage of the deal. This stage is supposed to include the release of the remaining Israeli hostages held in the Gaza Strip, in exchange for a complete end to the war in Gaza.

The sources added that an Israeli security delegation is expected to arrive in Cairo today (Sunday) or tomorrow (Monday) to continue the negotiations.
