Border Police forces, together with Civil Administration officers, arrived again last night, for the second time this week, at the hilltop outposts of *Makneh Avraham* and *Kol Yaakov* in Gush Etzion. They demolished homes and vandalized everything they could. A father holding his young daughter, who documented the destruction at Kol Yaakov, was beaten; his phone was snatched and returned only after police deleted the video he had filmed. At Makneh Avraham, the situation was reportedly even worse.

“They came here in a frenzy and destroyed everything in sight,” said one of the young men at Makneh Avraham this morning, just before heading out again with his flock of sheep—now left without shelter. “They scattered all the food from our cabinets onto the floor, took our personal bags and just dumped everything out. A resident who tried to speak with them was arrested and only released after midnight. It looked like a vengeful rampage with no limits. Someone clearly set the Border Police on us.”

Maj. Gen. Blot’s escalation over the past week across the hilltop communities—including those dozens of kilometers away from any incident—suggests this was all premeditated.
