Pro-Palestinian organizations, including the Hind Rajab Foundation, petitioned UK authorities to issue an arrest warrant against Israel’s President Isaac Herzog during his official visit. But the UK’s Attorney General, Lord Richard Hermer, and the Director of Public Prosecutions, Stephen Parkinson, dismissed the requests.

The foundation, established in Brussels in 2024 and named after Hind Rajab, a Palestinian killed during the “Iron Swords” war, claims Herzog bears personal responsibility for the “starvation of Gaza, systematic destruction, and war crimes.”

Herzog’s London visit was met with mass protests. Thousands of demonstrators chanted “Herzog – war criminal” and compared him to the Nazis. They also criticized UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer for meeting with the Israeli president.

The foundation announced it will appeal to Britain’s Supreme Court, declaring: “The authorities have abandoned the victims of genocide and placed themselves on the side of impunity, not justice.”
