The IDF Spokesperson published today (Sunday) at noon documentation from the IDF command center last night, during the American strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities, and simultaneously during IDF activities to rescue hostages in the Gaza Strip.

At that time, Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir, head of Intelligence, Air Force Commander, head of Planning Division, and other commanders were present in the command center. "The Chief of Staff sees great importance in the strategic relationship and coordination between the IDF and the US Army and emphasized that the IDF will continue to operate continuously until the objectives of the operation are completed," it was reported.

"Additionally, the Chief of Staff expressed appreciation for the forces' activities in the Gaza Strip to rescue hostages, alongside Operation Rising Lion and added that the IDF shares in the sorrow of the bereaved families and will continue to act in all efforts to return the hostages."

Earlier today, the IDF Spokesperson allowed the publication that in a special operation by the Shin Bet and the IDF, the bodies of the hostages Ofra Keidar, Yonatan Samerano and First Sergeant Shai Levinson were rescued from the Gaza Strip.

The late Ofra Keidar, a member of Kibbutz Be'eri, was brutally murdered and abducted from the kibbutz on October 7, 2023, by Hamas terrorists. Ofra, 71 years old at the time of her death, mother of three and wife of the late Shmuel Kedar, who was also murdered on October 7, 2023, by Hamas in their home in Be'eri.

The late Yonatan Samerano was brutally murdered and abducted from Kibbutz Be'eri on October 7, 2023, by Hamas terrorists, including an UNRWA employee, after fleeing the Nova party. Jonathan, 21, was dead.

The late First Sergeant Shai Levinson, a tank commander in the Oz Battalion (77), fought terrorists on the morning of October 7, fell in battle and was abducted on October 7, 2023, by Hamas. Shai was 19 years old when he fell.
