The IDF is reportedly set to recommend two possible options to the government in the event Hamas does not agree to a partial hostage deal, according to a report today (Sunday) by Channel 14 News.

According to the report, the IDF will recommend either entirely taking over the Gaza Strip and subjecting it to military rule, or encircling what remains of Gaza City and the central refugee camps, where remaining hostages are suspected to be held and controlling 90% of the Strip.

According to current reports, Israel is optimistic about the latest hostage deal proposal, but until Hamas officially approves the deal, the country remains cautious.
