The Attorney General has decided to prosecute Jonathan Urich
The State Attorney's Office notified Jonathan Urich, a close advisor to the Prime Minister, that the Attorney General and the State Attorney are considering bringing criminal charges against him.

The State Attorney's Office announced today (Sunday) to Jonathan Urich, a close advisor to the Prime Minister, that the Attorney General and the State Attorney are considering bringing criminal charges against him, subject to a hearing, in the "Bild" case, for security offenses of intentionally passing classified information with intent to harm state security, possession of classified information, and destruction of evidence.
According to the allegations against him, Urich worked together with Feldstein to extract raw classified information from IDF systems. This involves information classified at the highest level of secrecy that was obtained through a secret intelligence method, whose exposure by Urich could endanger state security and human lives.
According to the suspicion, the extraction of the classified information by Urich and Feldstein was intended, among other things, to influence public consciousness regarding the Prime Minister and to skew the discourse at that time regarding the murder of the six hostages in August 2024. The case is being handled by the Central District Attorney's Office.
