16-Year-Old Mysterious Missing from Jerusalem Synagogue—This Was His Last Known Location

Israeli police have issued a public appeal for information regarding the disappearance of 16-year-old Eliahu Ilani, a Haredi youth from Jerusalem who has been missing for nearly three weeks.

Ilani was last seen on the night of July 12, 2025, in the Ramot Shlomo neighborhood of Jerusalem, at the Mishkenot synagogue on Sdigora Street. Since then, no trace of him has been found.

According to the police, Ilani is approximately 1.60 meters tall, with short black hair and a slim build. At the time of his disappearance, he was reportedly wearing black pants, a white shirt, a black sweater, a black kippah, and glasses.

The Israel Police released a statement asking: “Anyone who has seen him or has any information that could help locate him is asked to contact the Israel Police emergency line at 100 or the Lev HaBira station at 02-5391550.”

Authorities continue to search for Ilani and are urging the public to come forward with any leads that may assist in locating him.
