Benjamin Netanyahu to give special announcement Saturday night - here's what we know about it
The Prime Minister announced today that he would be giving a special announcement Saturday night - and everyone is speculating on what.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced today (Friday) that he would give a "special statement" Saturday night, after the conclusion of Passover. Many in the press believe it will be related to Iran, the hostages, or both.
Veteran Channel 12 commentator Amit Segal said that "it's likely something to do with Iran or Gaza."
Sources speaking to Israel Hayom also said that the statement is likely to deal with the ongoing hostage negotiations, as well as the negotiations between the United States and Iran over their nuclear program in Rome. This announcement will come following the New York Times report that President Trump had vetoed an Israeli strike on Iran that was ready to launch in order to enter into negotiations.
American sources have said that the negotiations will last weeks, not months or years, though it is not clear what America's red lines are regarding a deal with the Islamic Republic. Iran has repeatedly said that it will not dismantle its existing centrifuges or nuclear program in any deal and is also demanding guarantees that Trump will not exit the new deal as he did the last one.
