Major General (res.) Gideon Ilani, 35 years old, Asa'el, a fighter in Battalion 2855, 'Chod Hachanit' formation (55), fell in battle in the Gaza Strip.
Major General (res.) Itay Perry, 36 years old, from Modi'in, a company liaison in the 8111 Battalion, 5th Brigade, was killed in battle in the southern Gaza Strip.
Major (res.) Evyatar Cohen, 42 years old, from Kfar Saba, a training officer in the 8111 Battalion, 5th Brigade, was killed in battle in the southern Gaza Strip.
Major Gal Bachar, 34 years old, from Oranit, a training officer in Division 36, was killed in a military car accident in the south of Israel.
