After red alerts sounded in many communities across the center, Sharon, and Samaria following the launch of a missile from Yemen towards Israel, MDA updated now (Monday) that 5 people were lightly injured after being hurt on their way to the protected area in Tel Aviv, Petah Tikva, Kfar Saba, Em Hamoshavot Interchange, and Holon.

As mentioned, around 15:20, Red Code alerts were heard in dozens of communities in the Tel Aviv area and its surroundings, including Tel Aviv, Bnei Brak, Bat Yam, Givat Shmuel, Ramat Gan, Petah Tikva, Herzliya, Ramat Hasharon, and more. Alerts were also heard in several communities in the Sharon, Shephelah, and Samaria regions.

The IDF stated that they intercepted a missile launched from Yemen, with the interception taking place before the missile crossed into Israeli territory. Alerts were activated due to concerns about falling interception debris. Since the beginning of November, the Houthis in Yemen have fired 6 ballistic missiles and about 5 drones towards Israel.
