Pakistan's Defense Minister announced an hour ago today (Monday) that an Indian military incursion into Pakistan is considered imminent, following days of escalation due to a murderous terrorist attack on Indian soil.

The current crisis began days ago, after a deadly terrorist attack on mostly Indian tourists in a popular spot in the contested region of Kashmir. At least 25 Indian and one Nepalese citizens were killed by terrorists, and some may have heard them mentioning the nationalist Prime Minister Modi, according to CNN.

Since then, tensions have ramped up between India and Pakistan, with the former accusing the latter of responsibility for the attack. Both countries have effectively expelled each others' citizens from their territory. India has also cut Pakistan off from a critical water-sharing treaty.

There have also been multiple reports of tensions along the LoC or Line Of Control border separating the two nations, and despite pleas for diplomacy, including from the United States, there appears to be no end in sight.
