Put Up a Fight: Jewish Influencers Are Leading the Online Battle Against Antisemitism
As antisemitic threats rise worldwide, digital voices have become frontline defenders of Jewish identity and truth.

In the months following October 7th, a troubling surge in antisemitic rhetoric and attacks has transformed what it means to be openly Jewish outside of Israel. In cities across the globe, expressions of Jewish identity have come under threat, whether on the streets, in universities, or in the digital sphere. Amid this escalating climate, Jewish influencers on social media, particularly Instagram, have emerged as powerful advocates, pushing back against hate with education, resilience, and pride.
Instagram, with its vast reach across generations and ideologies, has become an unlikely battlefield where content creators, activists, and educators from across the Jewish spectrum are using their platforms to raise awareness, document antisemitic incidents, and advocate for Jewish safety and visibility. These digital influencers speak to millions, often at significant personal cost: many report waves of hate messages, threats, and even physical confrontations, simply for sharing Jewish content or expressing solidarity with Israel.

Among the most prominent voices is Elizabeth “Lizzy” Savetsky (@lizzysavetsky), a New York-based fashion and lifestyle influencer who has become an outspoken activist against antisemitism. Known for combining style with substance, Savetsky shares “Torah thoughts,” pro-Israel messages, and reels that dismantle antisemitic tropes and call out public figures for harmful rhetoric or silence. In 2022, she made headlines after leaving Bravo’s reboot of The Real Housewives of New York City due to a relentless flood of antisemitic harassment.
“I was traumatized by the threats and hate messages my family and I received,” Savetsky said at the time. Yet she remains undeterred, using her growing following to elevate Jewish voices, highlight victims of antisemitic attacks, and promote Jewish pride to both Jewish and non-Jewish audiences.
Another leading figure is Rudy Rochman (@rudy_israel), a Jewish-Israeli activist and public speaker whose sharp, street-level dialogues have gone viral across platforms. A former IDF paratrooper and Columbia University graduate, Rochman first gained recognition for launching the campus chapter of Students Supporting Israel. His videos, often featuring direct debates with anti-Zionist protesters and even neo-Nazis, aim to expose antisemitism and offer a counternarrative grounded in history and human dignity.
“The only thing Jews should be afraid of is Jews being afraid,” Rochman declared during one of his widely shared campus encounters. His fearless presence, whether confronting anti-Israel demonstrators or documenting Jewish life in complex environments has positioned him as a leading voice for a younger generation unwilling to stay silent.
From secular educators to Orthodox activists, Jewish influencers today are unified by a shared mission: to fight antisemitism with truth, courage, and community. At a time when hate has become louder, their message is clear: Jewish voices will not be silenced.
