Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan harshly criticized Israel and emphasized the need to stabilize Syria, with the ruling party spokesperson even threatening military intervention.

Fidan declared that Syria must be assisted in maintaining security and stability in sensitive areas, and that Syria will achieve territorial integrity and sovereignty "in the near future." He accused Israel of using the Druze as a pretext for "intensifying chaos in Syria," and claimed that Israel does not want to see a stable Syria and seeks to undermine its security. "We hope for an end to the events in As-Suwayda and for security there to stabilize," Fidan added.

Additionally, Ömer Çelik, spokesperson for Turkey's Justice and Development Party, went a step further and declared that Turkey has been "the main guarantor of peace in the region for hundreds of years." He warned that "if Israel continues to try to divide Syria, the Turkish army is ready to enter an operation on President Erdogan's orders."

Furthermore, the Turkish Foreign Minister threatened direct military intervention against Syrian Kurds if SDF (Syrian Democratic Forces) forces do not join al-Jolani's government. This threat comes following a meeting held in Syria last week, in which Turkish officials gave the SDF a 30-day deadline to express support for the official Syrian government.
