The Israeli Air Force has struck and collapsed two multi-story towers in Gaza City, an operation that was carried out shortly after residents received an Arabic-language evacuation notice. The strikes, which reportedly caused massive explosions and sent a cloud of dust over the area, are part of the military's ongoing operations.

IDF warns Gazans to evacuate before blowing up Tibe Tower

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated that the targeted buildings were being used by Hamas for intelligence gathering and as observation posts to monitor the location of Israeli forces and plan attacks. The IDF confirmed that before the strikes, they took steps to minimize the risk to civilians, including issuing warnings to the population, using precise munitions, and conducting aerial surveillance.

One of the buildings was identified as the Tiba 2 tower, located in the Ramal neighborhood of western Gaza City. According to the IDF, the evacuation warning was issued to all residents in the area, and anyone who did not evacuate was in immediate danger. The military stated that it would continue to operate with force and determination against terrorist organizations in Gaza.

Meanwhile, Gazans continue to flee Gaza City, as Operation Gideon's Chariots Phase II kicks into gear.
