A survey published by the Siena College Research Institute (SCRI) last night (Wednesday) indicates that US presidential candidate Donald Trump leads President Biden by 9% amongst Jewish voters in New York State (53% compared to 44% respectively).

The results are extraordinary considering the fact that Jewish voters in New York have overwhelmingly voted for the Democratic Party over the years. The survey comes against the background of increasing American pressure on Israel to change its methods of fighting in the Gaza Strip in order to cause minimal harm to civilians, and work toward a two-state solution.

Admittedly, in recent weeks mainstream media has shown images of American Jews demonstrating against the war, but this seems to be a loud minority, and a distinct trend change appears to be on its way.
