A senior neurologist specializing in Parkinson's disease met with US President Joe Biden's personal physician at the White House earlier this year, according to visitors' diaries revealed by the New York Post. The meeting raises new questions about the health of the 81-year-old president, especially in light of his recent public appearances.

Dr. Kevin Kennard, a Parkinson's specialist at Walter Reed Medical Center, met with Dr. Kevin O'Connor and two other specialists at the White House Inpatient Clinic on January 17. Dr. John A. Atwood, a cardiologist at Walter Reed, also attended the meeting.

A neurological examination ruled out Parkinson's disease

Dr. Kennard is a leading expert on Parkinson's disease. Since 2012, he has served as a neurological specialist supporting the White House Medical Unit. His latest article was published in August 2023 in the journal Parkinsonism & Related Disorders, and focuses on the early stages of the disease.
