‘Your Daughter Deserved to Die’: Dad of Slain Israeli Soldier Hit With Vile Antisemitic Abuse
Neighbors accused of mocking David Lubin after his daughter, Sgt. Rose Lubin, was stabbed to death while serving in Jerusalem

The father of an American-Israeli soldier killed in Jerusalem says he has been subjected to antisemitic abuse by his neighbors in Atlanta, including being called a “k–e” and told his daughter “deserved to die.”
David Lubin’s daughter, Sgt. Elisheva Rose Ida Lubin, 20, was serving in Israel’s Border Police when she was fatally stabbed by a Palestinian teenager in the Old City of Jerusalem in November 2023.
Back in Georgia, Lubin has clashed with neighbors over signage he put up honoring his daughter. He says the couple across the street displayed pro-Palestinian signs alongside derogatory messages and, in recent confrontations, hurled slurs at him.
“You are calling yourself a k–e, you know what you are. You know what you are better than me. You are a corrupt politician with a daughter in the IDF that went there to kill, and was killed maybe in friendly fire because the Israeli soldiers kill each other all the time, and you know very well,” said Anna Bouyzk.
In video filmed during one altercation, Bouyzk was heard telling Lubin he was “a corrupt Israeli” and defending the use of the slur k–e.
Bouyzk later told local media she had “no regrets” about the remarks, adding: “I’ll say it a million times again. I’m not a Jew hater because I have Jew friends.”
Lubin says he is considering filing a police report over what he describes as escalating harassment.
