An Italian-Speaking Monster? The World's Antisemitism Problem Has a Name - Francesca Albanese
With a record of justifying terror, spreading antisemitic tropes, and minimizing Hamas atrocities, UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese is the global face of anti-jewish mental illness - that's why the UN loves her

Albanese's rhetoric mirrors the same logic that enabled the persecution of Jews in Europe—blaming victims, denying their suffering, and legitimizing violence against them."
Since her appointment as the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories, Francesca Albanese has been at the center of growing controversy. While her defenders describe her as an advocate for Palestinian rights, her long record of inflammatory statements, alignment with terrorist organizations, and repeated antisemitic tropes have led many governments, institutions, and watchdog groups alike to accuse her of crossing the line from criticism of Israeli policy to outright antisemitism and legitimization of terror.
A Decade of Anti-Israel Activism
Between 2003 and 2013, Albanese served as a legal and human rights advisor to various UN institutions, including the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva and UNDP in Morocco. During that time, she also worked as a legal advisor for UNRWA in Jerusalem and lectured on the Palestinian refugee issue at Bethlehem University.
But already during this period, signs of extreme bias emerged. In 2014, amid Israel’s Operation Protective Edge, Albanese publicly accused a “Jewish lobby” of controlling the United States, a textbook antisemitic conspiracy theory. She later issued an apology, but similar patterns continued.
Post Appointment: Pattern of Radicalism
Since her UN appointment on May 1, 2022, Albanese has doubled down on rhetoric that many argue violates the core requirement of impartiality for UN experts.
Collaboration with Terrorist Narratives
Perhaps most disturbing was her participation in a Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad conference via video in November 2022, during which she stated: “You have the right to resist this occupation.” Following this, Israel denied her entry into the country.
In December 2022, the Simon Wiesenthal Center called her a “walking encyclopedia of anti-Israel hatred” and accused her and the UN Human Rights Council of normalizing antisemitism.
Minimizing October 7 Massacre
On October 7, 2023, while the Hamas-led massacre in southern Israel was still underway, Albanese rushed to social media to contextualize the attack, writing that “today’s violence must be seen in broader context.”
She even cast doubt on reports of rape and atrocities, despite overwhelming evidence. When French President Emmanuel Macron labeled the massacre as the worst antisemitic attack of the 21st century, Albanese responded: “They weren’t killed because they were Jews, but as a response to Israeli oppression.”
International Backlash and Legal Concerns
In response, Israel’s Foreign Minister Israel Katz and Interior Minister Moshe Arbel declared her persona non grata, banning her entry. German universities, Freie Universität Berlin and LMU Munich, cancelled her planned lectures due to concerns for the safety of Jewish students. Germany’s Minister of Science, Ina Czyborra, stated bluntly: “Her statements meet all criteria of antisemitism.”
By July 2024, a criminal investigation was opened into suspicions that Albanese accepted illegal funding from Hamas-linked organizations to support her travels to Australia and New Zealand, funds she claimed came from the UN, though the organization refused to confirm.
The same month, she tweeted in defense of a comparison between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Adolf Hitler, prompting members of the German Bundestag to demand her removal.
In October 2024, Albanese condemned the assassination of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, calling it “inhumane,” despite acknowledging his role in the October 7 massacre. She added that both Hamas and Israeli leaders should be tried for war crimes, again equating the state of Israel with a terrorist group.
In June 2025, the United States called on the UN Secretary-General to fire Albanese and impose sanctions on her, citing “violent antisemitism, support for terrorism, and the unauthorized practice of law,” after it emerged she may have misrepresented her legal qualifications.
Conclusion: A UN Official or a Political Activist?
Francesca Albanese’s record speaks for itself. Her consistent demonization of Israel, repeated use of antisemitic tropes, open alignment with terrorist narratives, and dismissal of Jewish suffering have made her one of the most disgusting figures ever appointed by the United Nations.
