Bentzi Rubin is a seasoned political correspondent with extensive experience in covering the Israeli Knesset. He served as Srugim’s parliamentary reporter for three years and, as of mid‑2024, took on the role of Knesset correspondent for Maariv, delivering comprehensive coverage across both print and digital platforms. Rubin holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications and Political Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and previously worked at the Knesset Channel.
The head of the opposition, MK Yair Lapid, went on a diplomatic visit to Germany in efforts to free the abductees, in his meeting with the Chancellor of Germany Lapid said: "Stopping the millions flowing into Hamas accounts will lead to the collapse of the organization and the release of the abductees."
