Israeli drama series 'One Day in October' depicting real stories from the October 7 Hamas attack, including rescue missions and hostage experiences, set to premiere on HBO Max.

Israeli production company yes has announced that its new drama series, "One Day in October," ("שחר אדום") has been acquired by HBO Max for broadcast. The series, which focuses on real-life stories from the October 7 Hamas terror attack, was created by Oded Davidoff and Daniel Finkelman.
The series is divided into two parts. The first part chronicles the story of three Haredi volunteers who used a single ambulance to rescue victims from one of the most violent scenes in southern Israel. The character of one of the volunteers, Avi Jan, is played by actor Yuval Semo.
The second part of the series will feature the story of Omer Shem Tov, who was taken captive by Hamas on October 7. The role of Shem Tov will be played by Ori Perlman.
"One Day in October" is a joint production with FOX Entertainment, Moriah Films, Zoe Films, and Sparks Go. According to yes, the series is scheduled to premiere in the United States on October 7.
