In a historic display of Anglo-American relations, U.S. President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump have arrived at Windsor Castle for an unprecedented second state visit to the United Kingdom. They were received with a full ceremonial welcome, blending traditional royal pageantry with high-level diplomacy.

The Trumps were greeted by King Charles III,Queen Camilla, and the Prince and Princess of Wales. The royal welcome included a procession in horse-drawn carriages, a move reserved for only the most significant of foreign dignitaries.

President Trump and King Charles rode together in the Irish State Coach, while Queen Camilla and First Lady Melania Trump followed in the Scottish State Coach, escorted by the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment.

As the procession made its way through the castle grounds, it was lined with members of the armed forces and accompanied by three military bands, which performed both the U.S. and British national anthems.

Inside the castle's quadrangle, a grand honor guard was staged for inspection. The two leaders then took a moment to inspect the troops before moving into the castle for a private lunch in the State Dining Room.

The day's events also included a private viewing of items from the Royal Collection with a connection to the United States, specially curated for the occasion. This historic visit, which comes at a time of geopolitical tension, is intended to reinforce the strong bond between the two nations.
