Tragic accident in Monsey: 2-year-old girl died after being struck by vehicle
Monsey mourns as 2 year-old Henny Weingarten tragically passed away after being struck by a vehicle in a residential area.

A devastating incident occurred in Monsey on Monday afternoon when a 2-year-old girl was fatally struck by a vehicle on Calvert Drive.
The victim, identified as Henny Weingarten, was hit by a vehicle in a tragic accident. Rockland Hatzolah paramedics quickly responded to the scene, where they found the child in traumatic arrest. After approximately 10 minutes of intensive efforts, they managed to restore her pulse.
The young girl was then rushed to Nyack Hospital. Although the medical staff tried to revive her, she was sadly pronounced deceased at the hospital.
Misaskim and Chesed Shel Emes worked closely with hospital and local officials to ensure proper respect for the deceased.
The Levaya is scheduled for tonight at 7:30 PM. It will take place at the home of the Skvere Rebbe, located at 10 Jefferson Avenue in New Square.
