Curtis Sliwa, the Republican Party's candidate for mayor of New York City, was filmed complaining about ultra-Orthodox Jews in the city, claiming they live at everyone else's expense by learning Torah and making babies rather than working.

He said they are able to do so because they vote as a bloc and ensure that politicians get big checks. While conceding that voters have the right to vote their own interests, Sliwa said that they don't vote like "normal Americans."
