“I Chose Myself”: Mor Maman Opens Up on Painful Divorce 3 Months After Wedding
Former Miss Israel Mor Maman announces divorce from David Azulai just three months after their wedding, citing personal choice and prioritizing her children's wellbeing.

Former beauty queen Mor Maman (30) is heading back to the rabbinate, this time not for marriage, but for divorce. Only three months after standing under the chupa with real estate entrepreneur David Azulai, the two have separated.
“It takes courage, but I chose myself and my children,” Maman declared. “One day I’ll share the full story.”
Maman, who was crowned Miss Israel in 2014, has lived much of her personal life in the public eye. The engagement to Azulai earlier this year surprised many, as the couple had been together only a few weeks before he proposed. Their glamorous wedding in June drew wide media attention.
This is not the first time Maman’s relationships have stirred headlines. The mother of two was previously married to Israel Frank Amsalem, with whom she shares her children. After their divorce, she became religious and was briefly engaged in a match to a man 13 years her senior, though the engagement was eventually called off.
Now, less than a season after her second wedding, Maman finds herself once again at a turning point. Her words suggest resilience:
“It’s surprising, but sometimes life leaves you no other choice but to get up and walk away.”
For now, Maman says her priority is her children, and her decision to move forward on her own terms.
