Medical Report Exposes Systematic Starvation of Hostages
New health report finds two Israeli hostages in Gaza have lost up to 50% of their body weight due to systematic starvation by terror groups

A new medical report published Monday by the Hostages and Missing Families Forum reveals severe malnutrition among Israeli hostages held in Gaza, pointing to deliberate and prolonged starvation tactics by Hamas and Islamic Jihad.
According to the report, hostage Evyatar David, who originally weighed 76 kg (167 lbs), is now estimated to weigh between 40-45 kg (88-99 lbs) - a loss of approximately 41% of his body weight. Fellow hostage Rom Breslavsky has reportedly dropped from 65 kg (143 lbs) to between 43-47 kg (95-103 lbs), reflecting a 31% reduction.
The report concludes that both hostages are suffering from severe undernourishment and face life-threatening multi-systemic collapse.
The analysis was conducted by a team of health experts including Prof. Hagai Levine, head of the forum’s health division; Dr. Einat Yahaneh, a neuropsychologist; and Prof. Ronit Endvelt, former head of nutrition at the Israeli Ministry of Health. Their clinical assessments were based on video documentation, survivor testimony, and medical data from previous reports.
Images released by the Hostages Forum further underscore the deteriorating physical state of the abductees, sparking renewed public and diplomatic concern.
