Trump Gives "Green Light" To Taking All Gaza
The President has reportedly given the go-ahead for Israel to fully occupy the Gaza Strip, which is why Prime Minister Netanyahu's office told reporters it's set to happen.

President Donald Trump has reportedly given the "green light" to Prime Minister Netanyahu's reported plan to occupy the entire Gaza Strip, according to a report today (Monday) in Ynet.
Following the decision of Hamas to take a hard line in negotiations - including making demands such as the release of October 7 terrorists in exchange for some of the hostages, as well as the Hamas campaign claiming a massive famine in the Gaza Strip and its release of videos showing living hostages in an emaciated state - Israel and the United States have now agreed that Hamas does not want a hostage deal and that other approaches must be taken to eliminate Hamas and free the hostages.
According to senior officials from Prime Minister Netanyahu's speaking to Israeli media today, the videos released by Hamas over the weekend showing two of the remaining living hostages in a state of near-starvation and looking skeletal convinced the government that there is now no more time to waste on what it sees as fruitless negotiations.
Thus, even though an advance into areas suspected to contain hostages may risk their lives, their current condition means they might die anyway if the IDF does not go in.
There are currently about 50 remaining hostages held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip, around 20 of whom are believed to still be alive, albeit in increasingly poor health according to the Hamas videos and independent medical assessments conducted by Israeli doctors.
IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir has reportedly cut short a visit abroad after hearing reports that Netanyahu has decided to go for occupying the Strip.
