“This Land Is Yours”—U.S. Speaker Stuns with Bold Judea-Samaria Declaration
Mike Johnson becomes highest-ranking American official ever to visit Judea and Samaria, backing full Jewish claim to the land

In a landmark visit on Monday, U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson toured Judea and Samaria -including the city of Ariel - and made a striking declaration: “Judea and Samaria belong to the Jewish people.”
Joined by U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee and Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Johnson’s tour marks the first time a sitting U.S. House Speaker - third in line to the presidency - has officially visited the region during his tenure. The visit and statement stand in stark contrast to prevailing Western positions that label the territories as “occupied.”
“This land is yours,” Johnson said. “Every part of it matters. Being here, where our faith began, is profoundly meaningful. Scripture teaches that these mountains - Judea and Samaria - were promised to the Jewish people, and they belong to you by right. The world may not see it that way - but we do.”
The American delegation's remarks drew strong support from Israeli leaders, including Ariel Mayor Yoni Stabone, who hailed the visit as “a diplomatic and national mission.”
ambassador Huckabee echoed Johnson’s message: “We have many allies, but only one true partner - Israel. God gave this land and this destiny to the Jewish people. It’s not up for human debate - it’s divine will.”
The visit is seen as a direct affirmation of U.S. conservative support for Israel’s claim to Judea and Samaria, with Mayor Stabone concluding: “We thank President Trump and his team for standing with us. This moment fills us with pride and purpose.”
