Troops from the IDF's 810th "Mountain" Brigade, operating under Division 210, continue to conduct operations in the Syrian sector while maintaining defense along the Mount Dov (Har Dov) front near Lebanon.

During operations this week near the Qatir Hermon area, reservist battalions under the brigade’s command located several former Syrian commando headquarters believed to have been responsible for the Syria-Lebanon frontier under the former Assad regime.

Troops conducting the raids uncovered large stockpiles of Syrian army equipment. Over the course of the search, they seized more than three tons of weaponry, including anti-tank mines, dozens of improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and various types of rockets. All items were confiscated by the IDF.

According to an IDF spokesperson: "These searches along the Syria-Lebanon border are aimed at preventing the smuggling of weapons between the countries, with the goal of protecting the security of Israeli civilians—especially residents of the Golan Heights."
