Explosions heard over Doha as Iran retaliates | WATCH

Iran has reportedly fired about 6-7 missiles at Qatar in retaliation for Operation Midnight Hammer, the American destruction of the Iranian nuclear weapons facilities.

Explosions were heard over Doha tonight (Monday) as Iran fired six missiles at Qatar and one at Iraq.

Reporter Amit Segal said that if Iran could only fire seven missiles in total at American targets while claiming that this is "Hell unleashed," then Hell has apparently "frozen over."

Multiple commentators have noted that Iran does not wish to hit American targets in such a way as to lead to truly massive American strikes.

A fire has apparently broken out at the Qatar US base of al-Udeid.

Missiles were also reported fired at Kuwait.

Sirens are also sounding in Bahrain.

An Israeli sources says that 10 missiles have been fired at the American base in Qatar.

Iran has called the missile launch operation "Blessings of Victory."

Iran claims that three missiles hit the Qatar base.

An Israeli source said that Iran is solely targeting American sites in the Middle East.

The White House and the Defense Department said that they are aware of the danger to the Qatar base and are following the situation closely.

President Trump is currently in the situation room monitoring events.

The Israeli Air Force has reportedly struck missiles ready to fire at American air bases.
