A powerful Israeli airstrike hit the Lavizan district in northeastern Tehran tonight, with eyewitnesses reporting the use of bunker-busting munitions and heavy smoke rising from the area.
According to opposition sources inside Iran, the Lavizan area is believed to house secure Revolutionary Guard facilities — and possibly the hiding place of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei himself, along with other senior IRGC officials.
No official Iranian statement has been issued yet, and there is no confirmation regarding casualties or the presence of Khamenei at the time of the strike.
