Mossad Chief’s Secret Visit to Doha Sparks Talk of Full War-Ending Deal
Reports reveal that Mossad Director David Barnea met Qatar’s prime minister in a covert mission aimed at securing a comprehensive agreement to end the war and free all hostages, as the U.S. signals it no longer supports partial deals.

Mossad Director "Dedi" David Barnea made a covert visit to Doha, Qatar’s capital, on Thursday, where he met with Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, according to reports by journalist Barak Ravid.
The meeting marked the start of renewed talks with Hamas for a comprehensive agreement that would end the war in Gaza and secure the release of all hostages. Unlike previous attempts, which focused on partial deals, this latest effort follows Hamas’ rejection of Israel’s earlier terms.
Sources say Barnea emphasized to the Qatari leadership that Israel’s military plans to seize control of Gaza are not merely a pressure tactic, but a serious, strategic objective. According to American media, President Donald Trump has also shifted his position, abandoning the idea of partial deals and pushing instead for a full-scale arrangement that would dismantle Hamas rule and demilitarize the Strip.
Officials speaking to N12 said the Mossad chief requested that mediators convey Israel’s firm intentions regarding Gaza’s takeover.
Last week, Qatar’s prime minister met with U.S. envoy Brett McGurk to discuss a similar comprehensive deal. So far, Hamas has refused to relinquish its weapons or control over Gaza.
