Turkish FM: Ceasefire In Syria Taking Effect In Three Hours
The Syrian government thanked the United States for its efforts to deescalate matters in southern Syria, including ending IDF strikes on Syrian government targets.

The Turkish Foreign Minister said today (Wednesday) that a ceasefire is expected to come into effect in the next three hours.
According to Kann News, the Syrian government released the following statement in that regard:
"The Syrian Foreign Ministry told Syrian state television that Syria welcomes the efforts of the American administration and Arab states to regulate the crisis in southern Syria and the matter of Israeli attacks in a non-violent manner. Syria announces that it is prepared to cooperate with all relevant parties working for calm and stability, on the condition that these efforts be based on giving full respect to Syrian sovereignty and the consent of the will of the Syrian people."
