The hit political dramedy *Motek: Bullseye* is back for a second season, promising even more biting satire and laugh-out-loud moments. Following the success of its debut, the series returns to Kan 11 on August 10 with a new season that doubles down on the humor and political intrigue.

Season one introduced us to Motek Mordechai (played by Gili Itskovitch), a reality TV alum-turned-Knesset member in the centrist party “Bullseye.” As she navigated the cutthroat world of Israeli politics, the show cleverly blended social critique with smart comedy.

Now, in season two, Motek faces even thornier challenges. The party is rocked by the departure of Eguz Bazalt, replaced by Hanna Hanina Hanan, who shakes things up by demanding primaries. Meanwhile, Alex Turtsin — whom Motek helped land in jail — attempts a moral rebirth and seeks her cooperation.

The new season introduces multi-layered conflicts. The “Ahitophel Institute” tries to enlist Motek to lead legislation that would allow every citizen to bear arms. At the same time, her personal life collides with her public duties: her rekindled romance with childhood sweetheart Tish leads to a marriage proposal — just as Motek is set to chair a Knesset debate on the controversial gas framework, potentially putting her in a conflict of interest.

The series is created by veteran writer Shmuel Hasfari, known for the acclaimed trilogy *Kiddush, Hametz, and Shiva* and *Isha Ba’al Bayit*. It’s directed by comedy legend Eitan Zur (*HaHamishiya HaKamerit*, *HaBurganim*) with a script by Arieh Hasfari and production by Herzliya Studios.

The ensemble cast features a dynamic mix of talent, including Gili Itskovitch as Motek, alongside Avi Kushnir, Yaniv Biton, Lital Schwartz, Ruth Asarsai, Naomi Levov, Anat Waxman, Daniel Gad, Yakir Shukrun, Anna Dubrovitsky, Yigal Adika, Udi Persi, Ofira Rahamim, and more.

More than just a comedy, *Motek: Bullseye* holds a mirror up to Israeli society. It portrays the Knesset as a vital democratic institution, where 120 lawmakers shape every aspect of life, while exposing its darker undercurrents: adrenaline, ambition, power plays, greed, scandal, and the eternal battle between good and evil.

Season two consists of 10 episodes, each about 25 minutes long, airing Sunday through Wednesday immediately after *4 Weddings*, with both a double-episode premiere and finale. Episodes will be available on Kan 11 and streaming on Kan BOX.

With its smart humor and biting social commentary, *Motek: Bullseye* proves that quality entertainment and political critique can go hand in hand. As the season unfolds, viewers will watch Motek struggle to hold onto her values in the messy world of Israeli politics, a journey that promises both laughs and insight.

Tune in from August 10 to follow Motek’s ongoing political saga, where wit meets hard truths in one of Israel’s most talked-about series.
