Israeli singer-songwriter Jasmin Moallem is adding an unexpected chapter to her career with the announcement of a new duet alongside one of the country’s fastest-rising musicians.

Moallem first broke into the public spotlight in 2020 with her hit single “Messiba”, introducing a distinctive voice, soft yet confident, to the Israeli music scene. Since then, she has released two albums, “Arie” and “Ein Olam”, and collaborated with leading artists such as Tuna, Shekel, and Margie, cementing her place among the most prominent voices of the new generation.

Her latest collaboration pairs her with Ben Zur, a musician who has recently gained traction on TikTok and national radio. Zur made headlines last week after proposing to his partner and performing at Caesarea for the first time. On Sunday, the pair released a teaser for their upcoming track, hinting at a fresh musical fusion.

The announcement comes just weeks after Moallem shared personal news with her followers. In late July, she revealed on Instagram that she had given birth to her second daughter, posting a close-up photo of the newborn’s hand. “Two weeks ago, on the 17th of Tammuz, an angel joined us,” Moallem wrote, expressing gratitude to the maternity ward staff at Laniado Hospital for their dedicated care.

The new duet’s release date has yet to be announced, but anticipation is already building among fans eager to hear the collaboration.
