“August Dump” tops Apple Music charts and dominates YouTube as the 26-year-old artist solidifies his place at the top of Israeli pop

Israeli singer Omer (Osher) Cohen, one of the country's most prominent musical talents, continues to climb new heights, this time with record-breaking speed. Within just 24 hours of releasing his latest album "August Dump", Cohen has already claimed the #1 spot on Apple Music’s album chart in Israel and placed four tracks in YouTube’s trending videos list.
The 26-year-old artist released the highly anticipated album yesterday, with several tracks gaining immediate traction across streaming platforms. Five of the songs were co-written and composed with frequent collaborator Tal Kastiel, including:
Cohen also penned and composed one track entirely on his own: “Lo Mevin” (“Don’t Understand”).
In “Ani Rotze Od Ahava”, Cohen sings of yearning for more love from his partner. In “Shnei Zarin”, he expresses feelings of disconnection, confessing he barely knows his partner.
Speaking about the album, Cohen shared a heartfelt message with fans:
