Osher Cohen Chooses Stage Over Business
Israeli singer Osher Cohen closes his OCF Records label to concentrate on performing and producing music. His latest release "August Dump" achieves chart success across all tracks.

Just months after launching his own record label and signing two artists, Israeli singer-songwriter Osher Cohen is closing the venture to dedicate himself fully to his music career.
Cohen founded OCF Records earlier this year, signing rising stars Or Cohen and Sarit Avitan. Sources close to the matter declared that the decision comes as Cohen struggles to balance running a label with creating and performing his own music.
“He wants to focus on music. He’s producing his own material and performing dozens of shows every month. Doing both was nearly impossible,” the sources said.
Following the closure, Sarit Avitan will return to the management of Roberto Ben Shoshan, and Or Cohen, another Next Star alumnus, will also resume management outside OCF. Cohen and Avitan, however, continue to collaborate on new music that is expected to be released soon.
Despite the brief life of his label, Cohen’s music career remains strong. His new mini-album, August Dump, has landed every track on Israel’s official music chart, signaling continued success as a performing artist.
