Art, Beats and Sunrise: Tel Aviv’s White Night Returns Bigger Than Ever
Tel Aviv's iconic White Night festival returns in 2025 with art installations, concerts, and performances across the city. Free and low-cost events celebrate cultural resilience.

Tel Aviv-Jaffa is preparing for its iconic White Night 2025, set to take place on Thursday, August 28, from sunset until the early morning hours. The annual cultural festival, featuring concerts, art installations, street performances, and community events, will offer free or low-cost entry across dozens of venues.
This year, the event carries extra weight: following months of national turmoil and a postponed edition due to the war with Hezbollah, organizers describe the festival as a statement of resilience, proving the city’s cultural heartbeat remains strong.
“White Night is a declaration of a city that breathes freedom and a community that never stops creating, innovating and dreaming,” said Deputy Mayor Chen Arieli, who oversees Tel Aviv’s cultural portfolio. “Especially now, in such painful and complex days, we choose to hold onto culture, community and hope.”

A Tradition Rooted in UNESCO Recognition
White Night was first celebrated in 2003, after UNESCO recognized Tel Aviv’s “White City,” the world’s largest collection of Bauhaus-style architecture, as a World Heritage Site. Since then, the festival has evolved into a symbol of freedom, creativity, and communal spirit, reflecting Tel Aviv’s identity as the “city that never stops.”

The events are designed for all ages, blending music, theater, visual art, dance, and food culture. Whether you’re a fan of indie rock, family activities, or late-night performances under the stars, White Night offers a chance to reconnect with the city and its creative pulse.
