Elderly Couple Injured After Car Overturns in Central Rishon LeZion
An 85-year-old man and woman were injured when their vehicle overturned near a commercial center in Rishon LeZion. Emergency responders treated them on-site.

An 85-year-old man and a woman of similar age were injured on Sunday afternoon when their vehicle overturned near a commercial center on Jabotinsky Street in central Rishon LeZion.
Emergency responders from United Hatzalah and Magen David Adom arrived at the scene and provided initial treatment. The man was moderately injured, while the woman sustained light injuries. Both were evacuated to Shamir–Assaf Harofeh Medical Center for further care.

Footage from the scene showed the vehicle flipped upside down, with responders treating the couple on-site.
“At 12:19 p.m., a report was received at MDA’s 101 hotline about a car that had overturned at a commercial center in Rishon LeZion,” MDA said in a statement. “Paramedics treated and transported an 85-year-old man in moderate condition with limb injuries, and another person in mild condition.”
United Hatzalah medics Yehuda Levin, Nir Dorfman, and Yitzhak Strauss added:
“We provided initial treatment at the scene to a man and woman in their 80s who were in the overturned vehicle. At this stage, the man’s condition is moderate, and the woman’s is mild to moderate.”
