The US Attorney General's office published a series of documents that included lists of names of associates of billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, who was accused of rape and trafficking minors for sexual purposes. Among the names appearing, one can find Ehud Barak, Ehud Olmert, Donald Trump, as well as celebrities and public figures from around the world.

The documents published last Friday (July 11) by Pamela Bondi, the Attorney General in the Trump administration, include lists of people who flew to Epstein's private island, where he used to hold parties. Additionally, lists of evidence seized from his residence were attached, as well as contact lists.

Among the contacts appeared many familiar names: including former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and other Israelis, as well as Secret Service personnel who were defined as "Ehud Barak's escorts." Among the additional names, one can find Dustin Hoffman, Alec Baldwin, Michael Jackson, Mick Jagger, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, and others.

The documents also contained names of Trump family members, Ivana and Ivanka. No American president appeared on the contact list, but the names of some of them did appear in other documents in the case. Donald Trump, for example, appears on the passenger list of those who flew to Epstein's private island where, according to testimonies, crimes related to human trafficking for sexual purposes took place.

The lists were published for the first time as part of a parallel case conducted against Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein's associate, who was sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2022 after being convicted of recruiting minors for him.

In addition to the passenger lists and contacts, a list of seized evidence was also published, as well as a list of 254 masseuses that Epstein and his associates contacted.

It should be emphasized that in the published documents there is no proof that additional people besides Epstein committed crimes, and they contain no incriminating materials.

Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide in 2019 in prison during his trial, in which he was accused of serious sex crimes, trafficking minors, and bribery. Maxwell, his main partner, was subsequently sentenced to 20 years in prison.

The release of the documents was done as part of a transparency initiative by the Trump administration, aimed at publishing documents that had been classified until now.
