The European Union is considering suspending Israel’s access to the “Horizon Europe” research and innovation program due to Israel’s justified war against terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip and the false Hamas “starvation” campaign, senior EU sources confirmed to the European news agency *Euronews* today (Monday).

According to Channel 14, EU Commission members met today to discuss the move, which includes a partial suspension of Israel’s participation in the Horizon program. According to a source familiar with the discussions, the proposal is to suspend parts of the agreement with Israel, and a vote on the matter may take place as early as tomorrow among the ambassadors of the 27 member states.

Despite the proposal, countries such as Austria, Germany, Hungary, and the Czech Republic are expected to oppose the suspension. However, as it is a partial suspension, unanimous agreement is not required. The proposal is one of ten alternatives recently presented as part of the EU’s “solidarity” with Gazans, which effectively legitimizes terrorist organizations.
