Watch Gazan Woman’s Shocking Praise for Trump: Is Hamas Losing Its Grip?
A video of a Gazan woman thanking President Trump and the U.S. for aid delivered through the Global Humanitarian Foundation highlights improved conditions and a rift with Hamas. The GHF’s efforts to bypass Hamas’s aid diversion have gained local support, though the initiative remains controversial.

A recently emerged video has sparked debate by showcasing a Gazan woman expressing gratitude to U.S. President Donald Trump and the Global Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) for delivering vital aid to her community. In the footage, a GHF representative interviews the woman, who credits U.S. support for improving living conditions in Gaza. “Now everything is nice, GHF has made everything better,” she says. When asked what message she would send to President Trump, she responds, “I thank him tremendously for everything because he saved us. He helped us continue with our lives.”
The GHF, backed by the U.S. and Israel, has been distributing food, medicine, and essential supplies directly to Gaza’s civilians, bypassing Hamas, which has been widely criticized for intercepting and reselling aid on the black market. Reports indicate that Hamas’s diversion of international relief has fuelled a lucrative trade, leaving many Gazans frustrated and reliant on alternative aid channels like GHF. The foundation claims to have delivered over 46 million meals since May 2025, with a $30 million U.S. funding commitment, including $7 million already disbursed.
The woman’s remarks reflect growing discontent with Hamas among some Gazans, who feel abandoned by the terror group’s manipulation of resources. The video, verified by journalists through geolocation at the Tel al-Sultan aid hub, has stirred controversy, as it goes against the Hamas propaganda being spread against the GHF and pushes the local narrative of civillians instead of terrorists. The GHF’s operations continues to face criticism from the UN, which has labeled its distribution hubs “death traps” due to reported civilian casualties near the sites, a claim GHF disputes as Hamas disinformation. Amid the ongoing conflict, intensified by the June 2025 Israel-Iran air war, the video underscores a rare public expression of gratitude toward Trump and the U.S., highlighting a shift in sentiment among some Gazans seeking alternatives to Hamas’s control.
