Rockets for food? Hezbollah broke and unable to rebuild homes
Arab media reports that Hezbollah funding to compensate civilians for property damage incurred during the war with Israel has dried up.

Hezbollah, which promised to rebuild civilian homes, which doubled as Hezbollah military sites and which were devastated in the war with the IDF, has run out of funding for the time being, leaving homeowners destitute and in severe debt, according to a report today (Tuesday) in Arab media, according to Israel Hayom.
Al-Sharq Al-Awsat even published testimonies from Dahiyeh residents who are waiting for home rehabilitation without any of the promised aid from the Shiite terrorist group: "After my house was completely destroyed, we were told there was an urgent rehabilitation plan and that compensation would be paid within a few months," said Ali, a Dahiyeh resident, "but the reality is completely different. All we actually received was housing allowance for only four months - starting in January, totaling two thousand dollars, no more. After that the aid was completely stopped and we received no financial support for repairing what was destroyed."
He added: "My house is no longer habitable. It was completely damaged - the walls, floors, water and electricity networks, furniture - they were completely destroyed. I didn't receive compensation for the losses. Since then I've been bearing all the costs out of my own pocket. I've paid more than tens of thousands of dollars so far, and I'm still at the beginning of the process. I estimate I'll need at least another 30,000 dollars to rehabilitate the house."
